Why are there so many Maryland tags dropping off kids at FCPS school? When I asked my son he said there are a lot of kids that live in Maryland and the people at the school don't care. If that is the case why is the school system saying they need more money if they are taking in kids from other states? A asked people that I know who have kids at other schools and they said they see it at their child's school also. The person said that it is a really big problem at her daughters school. Who do we tell if we see these cars? To me this is not right.

Using a relative's address to sign them up for school.

I can put some insight into this.

A 2 bedroom apartment in Fairfax County averages $1800/month now.

People who can't afford it will move to maryland (where the same apartment goes for more like $1200) and then keep bringing their kid to the Fairfax County school, instead of putting them in the local MD school. They will use a relative's or friend's ffx address to get mail and it works.

If it were me I'd do the same thing. I am not mad at them for doing so.

Illegals can get drivers licenses and tags in Maryland, no questions asked. Beaners just use an address in Maryland of anyone they know, but live in Virginia closer to jobs. That's one reason you see a lot of Maryland tags in VA.

I keep my vehicles registered to my in-laws address in Maryland so I never pay any property tax and never deal with those stupid state safety inspections.

If the kids live in Maryland they need to go to Maryland schools. The taxpayers can't pay for those kids also. Especially if the schools are over crowded like they are in FCPS.

They live in VS. Believe me they aren't making the trip everyday who would. They live in VS but don't want to pay to pay the annual vehicle tax. That's why you see more MD tags in lower income residential areas here in FFX.

Noticed kids that actually live in Manassas but attend FCPS. See it every day. They probably use a relatives address in Fairfax.

There are some neighborhoods across the river in Prince George's County that are not too bad, with large lots, lower crime, and not many nogs. However nobody in their right mind would send their child to school in PG county. Hence they drop off their kids on the way to work in Fairfax County.

Sure.... I can understand recieving mail for previous tenants although it's getting a bit excessive. I have turned them into the post office, stacks and stacks of mail for several different people. It's the fact that I seem to be recieving mail with new names now. It's getting out of hand.

The reason this is a problem is the school board keeps saying they need more money. But if fairfax is educating kids other than county kids I don't want to pay more for them. Also it takes places in activities from county residents kids and it in plain language not right.

We had that, cars with MD plates in our VA condo. Turns out that they were military families and could register their cars wherever they wanted. I suspect that the cars with MD plates that you see at the school belong to military families.

And there's a majority of Democrats in FXCO and your 1 of them , Gotta cover for Illegals no matter what, no matter how many Maryland plates they have. Theres military from ever state in the USA in FXCO

It is a reason taxes are high and schools are overcrowded

This right here. But even better--the kids get free Fairfax education and diplomas, but because their legal address is PG County they get a diversity break on college admission for most schools in the country. Much easier for them to get into UVA or Tech than a Fairfax local kid.

Fairfax County taxpayers are subsidizing three free meals a day for the illegal kids whose parents pay no taxes whatsoever.

I would venture to say few of the MD plates housed in Fairfax County are military. Yes military are “allowed” to keep their vehicles licensed in their “home of record” state but these aren’t the cheaters. Once they retire they have a reasonable amount of time (6-9 months) to change their registration to their new home..... Virginia. The others ....the majority .... are the cheaters....So they don’t have to pay the Fairfax County property tax. They are cheating our county of money to fund schools, roads etc. PLEASE turn in your neighbors that are not military but park in your neighborhood with MD plates. Go to Jeff MCKay (Fairfax County Board of Supervisors) site and you can submit the license plate, car make/model/color etc. The tax evaders will be ticketed. And pretty soon they will have VA plates like you.

You have over 100,000 illegals in this county. Building codes are ignored as they create "rooms" with partitions and sheets to live 20 in a house. Cars are parked on the lawn and in the back yard. The kids go to schools for free and no one pays any taxes. Most of the money is western union'd back to the homeland. It's a joke to think anyone even has a handle on who these people are, much less have the ability to collect any taxes from them.

One thing I notice in Northern Virginia is that the counties now are trying to reduce the amount of money they spend on having to send out and manufacture car county stickers that designate who has kept their car property taxes paid. So if you move into Fairfax or Loudoun now you will no longer have to get a car sticker. They just add the $25.00 it used to cost to your annual tax bills. Of course that means there is no way they will catch you for owing the property tax unless you happen to be stopped for another reason by the police and they happen to notice that you own property here.

in the early 90's (if not beyond) there were many people who had FLORIDA license plates. they were ALL ADMITTEDLY AVOIDING TAX by registering their car in another state. the law said they had to be in FL a certain % of time - this is what, of course, they were lying about

the answer: TAX EVASION

MORE lies from NBCWASHINGTON

the truth is reston is full of nogs in a (a few now) huge low price housing complexes (many buildings each)

they are "DC IMPLANTS", many came over when democrats made a deal with that cocaine debting mayor barry, it reduced his outlay (less welfare to pay out, more to steal), and he padded their (fx co gov supervisor) pockets with cash for the implant deals. in other words: the funds to build housing and do the "right thing" in DC: dis-appeared.

^^ moreso, they were NOT paid fair wages in DC and were moved into fairfax, nigs hated fairfax in the 80's 90's - had they the money they'd be in MD or have made some area of fairfax a black area - had they the fair wages paid money. very few nogs in fairfax chose to came here - until obama padded their pockets with gov job cash that is.

in the 70's and 80's some blacks and whites were less "race card paranoid"

you didn't hear many blacks in fairfax say a word about racism - only a few that were DC implants were "that way"

in the 70's DC blacks hated education and were (mostly) illiterate and on drugs alcohol

however there was ALLOT of optimism in the "peace" 70's and 80's that salt and pepper was going to go down "without a hitch" or an anchor. it took 20 years for things to start rolling

and here we are in 20teens, with race cards in almost every political debate!

You loosely interchange “blacks” with the “nigger mindset.”
Being a nigger has more to do w action than the color you were born!
Niggers hate blacks.
Niggers hate blacks that date non blacks.
Niggers kill and rape and rob.
I call Ms13 wannabes “niggers.”
That’s what you blacks don’t understand:
Every race has “niggers.”
Every race wants them eradicated.
