At our Meetup group, hosted by Ethical Culture Society of Northern Virginia, it has been my previledge to participate in a small group evening discussion group meeting at Café Amouri (Penny University), located downtown Vienna, opposite the Vienna Train Station Park. Café Amouri is a small place, very small in fact, but their coffee is I think famous beyond Vienna, VA.

We meet typically once or twice a month. Typically attended by members who are "thoughtful" and enjoys intellectual conversation, in a friendly, and tolerant environment.

Name calling, anger, and other negative emotions are not tolerated, and rightly so. The Group Discussion leader, tells the group, ahead of time, that if anyone engages in "name calling, anger, or intolerant remarks" will be asked to leave the meeting.

But amazingly, after almost a year of participation, we never experienced any such "negative stuff".

Typically 10 to 25 participants show up. few with their spouses or partners.

What is a Utopia ?

Possible Answer: A Place, a community that does not exist yet. But the dream lives on from the Author of the classic book "Utopia' to modern versions, include the mostly failed religious communities of the 18th and 19th century, immigrants who came to America in search of religious freedom and for a better life.

What is Wisdom ?

Scientific Knowledge means measured observed data and any scientific axioms derived directly from them such as pure ratio (that are not in question).

Scientific Understanding is any theories applied to data which are not certain.

PHYSICS LESSON #0: quantum physics means scientific knowledge (quanta) of atoms that are uncertain - that means equation must be statistical to show each possible outcome since science HAS NO IDEA what the proper outcome is. Understanding means what science thinks of the knowledge they have.

Example: time travel. time is a constant developed by mankind just like "Meter, feet" are. The universe has no clue a clock is ticking and doesn't want one. Einstein used time as a variable to make universal equations easier presented - and began theorizing t was infact naturally variable (why i have no idea, his age perhaps or too many nuclear beers).

time travel is full of crap, non-Newtonian, and anything non-Newtonian will be later fully explained when better observations arrive

PHYSICS LESSON #0: addition; quantum physics includes what is known and also what isn't known. it's the inclusion of statistical outcome that gives it it's quirky difference from "normal physics"

WISDOM IS THAT FAIRFAX COUNTY GOV EMPLOYEES ARE ALL DEMOCRATS, AND MAKE 3X-15X THE WAGES PEOPLE IN TOWN MAKE, and furthermore this has progressed to where even for minimum wage private industry jobs businesses in the area seem to always hire illegals / democrat friends of fairfax county gov instead of any of the other tens or hundreds of applicants

MONEY is your problem and your local government and Courts are %100 responsible for it. It will become an eviction later. Stick to that.

Discussion: Yes, the "Astroid Threat" to Earth is real. It has happened many times before in the history of the earth. But now we know far more about the "risk of Astroid strike" then we did before.

But yes, the "issue if money" and "urgently needed breakthrough" in technology to enable "interception of a rough asteroid" before it strikes earth.

NASA's "Astroid Redirect" was recently cancelled, due mainly to this need to mature "technology" to intercept Astroid In an affordable manner, not just by USA alone, but collaborating with other friendly nations who are also developing such technology, for example, UK, Germany, France, and India.
