White Man, 47, is arrested at airport for 'possessing thousands of child porn images' after his wife tipped off

A man has been arrested at San Francisco airport for allegedly possessing thousands of child porn images after his wife tipped police off about the contents of his computer.

Matthew Coda, 47, was taken into custody on Monday night after arriving at the airport on a domestic flight.
Coda has been under investigation since September when his wife told authorities she was concerned about alleged child porn images on his computer.
About 3,000 images of child pornography were found on Coda's computer, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
'The suspect's wife contacted us and was able to provide us with information that her husband was in possession of child pornography,' Detective Sal Zuno told SF Gate.

'The investigation continued for several months, and with her help we were able to get evidence and images.'
Authorities said Coda works in a technical field in Mountain View in Santa Clara County.
Coda does not work with children, investigators say.
He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility following his arrest.
