Is Lisa Alexander-White still the lead School Invesigation Specialst for FCPS?

She started her career working for Social Services and later went on to be charged with assault and domestic violence herself (see link below). It is amazing who the School Board hires and ultimately makes crucial county-wide decisions.

FCPS is horrible at hiring. She is terrible as an investigator. No wonder fraud is rampant in the school system!

That’s the truth. HR is terrible and the payouts are draining. Investigation? My Girl Scout troop could do a better job than FCPS. The problem now is that no one cares. They continue to act illegally and lie no matter what so why waste your breath? The Dave Thomas story is in the news and no one responds at all? FCPS doesn’t care.

This new principal has no idea how he’s been set up. He was targeted to take the job, recruited to apply, and interviewed against two people not capable of taking over a school as big as this one. Scandal. Few teachers and even less parents will have anything to do with Lake Braddock now.

Mr. Park please, aren’t you tired? You must be tired. You have to be.

For your own health, and for those who love you, stop this insanity. Your insatiable appetite to further ruin Dave Thomas’ career will ultimately be your downfall.

Nice try taking a cheap shot at Park. You clearly don’t have a clue what’s going on. The truth isn’t something FCPS wants out there. Parents and veteran teachers watch and see nothing happening which means the cover ups and scandals are okay with FCPS and the board. When are the results of the federal investigation being released? When will the superintendent address the Lake Braddock community? Those are the things we should be asking.

They have Doc as the new ADSA he will take care of all the issues in athletic department. So they are moving in the right direction

Doc is a tool with a tattoo on each of his calves.

Doc has done such wonderful things at Lake Braddock and for the community. The way he has built the football program with so many of the boys getting scholarships and being responsible young men. The sense of pride in the program and community spirit.
I think with him captaining the ship, everything in the athletic department will be A OK!

At first, I thought I wrote that!

OCR still hasn't responded to the Park complaint--there is nothing there. Bryan Gibson did a clean investigation and found the system took action to address the concerns. Of course Dave was given a settlement to cushion his removal for obviously ridiculous reasons. Unfortunately, there are times an expedient decision is made that, while it isn't right, it is hoped to allow everyone to move on. If Bill and his friends could move on, the school system, the students, parents and teachers of FCPS would be able to focus on what is important--a safe and sound public education.

Everyone who saw how poorly this (and other) situations have either moved on to greener pastures or continue to work at FCPS with the knowledge that public furor can trump sanity.

Focus on the kids and not petty issues from parents.

Dave lied about what he knew, then tried to throw people under the bus to cover it. This as well as other documented times where he tried to cover up as well.He put students in an unsafe environment and gave them no voice to be heard. He could care less about the students at Lake Braddock, he only cared about his reputation.

The mob mentality is what has caused these problems and the honest hard working people who try to sort it out get lambasted. The facts should matter--not individual sense of privilege or grudges. The school system tried to address a gym teacher who created an environment that was unsafe for coworkers and students. They have respected privacy and cannot share all they know. He degraded male and female students, created a hostile environment, and violated security protocols. All totally separate from Bill Park's witch hunt. People on here are posting with one sided and false information.

FCPS can’t ever do it right? What a mistake in not naming Doc to ADSA. This must be another set up. The DSA will be fired next? What a screwed up place to work!

Why you try to blame Park? FCPS sweeps things under the rug and cover by hiring people they can manipulate. The things those girls endured were awful and yet the principal has been receiving his salary since he was “fired”? How Thomas wasn’t actually fired comes out and FCPS doesn’t say a word?
