Hattontown

I notice that Google Maps lists the area around Monroe St. and Frying Pan Rd. as "Hattontown". Googling finds lots of references but no real information. Anyone know the history of the name?

I am not sure about Hattontown, but I live off of Columbia Pike in a place called Belvedere, which has a colorful history going all the way back to when it was named in the mid-1980s after Lynn Belvedere, an English butler who worked for a local family that had a baseball-mad father.
