Amen to that! I'll keep sharing and posting too. Too much crazy shit going on this world and this place is a great way to vent about it. Being in the 9 to 5 "politically correct" environment at work tends to be a show as one can see how such programs and rules tend to backfire. It's great to have this site to use as a vent to get my frustrations out.

If you ever had a job, you sign a contract to abide by the rules and regulations of the organization that employs you as you are an agent of the employer while you are at your job. Some rules and regulations also apply when not at work depending on your position within said organization. NFL players are no different. However, they are certainly free to take a stand in the streets of Chicago on their own free time to protest the violence if that was what they are really protesting but everyone knows it's not. They are protesting the USA, all Americans and our military.

Actually being employed as an NFL player is a lot different. It's no like getting a job at Walmart or working in your IT department. And players are employed by the team, not the NFL. The NFL is governed by the decisions of the the 32 team owners, and they said last year that they won't discipline players who don't stand for the anthem. So, even though there's a policy, the league already said there's no punishment. And since Trump has publicly told the league to fire the players, those players would have a solid court argument that the government infringed their right to free speech. To wit, they were fired because the president ordered the the league to fire them.

It's really a non-issue anyway, just something for the alt-right losers and Trumptards to get butthurt about. If you don't like it just stop going to games and STFU already.
