Yes my mother was a special ed teaching in another state. A boy in her class would daily climb on his desk, fall and hit his head on the floor.

She got tired of seeing him hurt himself, so she caught him as he was falling.

The teacher's assistant reported it to the principal and my mother was fired for preventing this kid's injury.

Teachers (in the past) were NOT held legally liable for questionable treatment of students.

Teachers today, by Commonwealth Law, can demand the same treatment be afforded to them, by Law, unless every past teacher still living be held accountable in the way they are TODAY (which btw is illegal, retro-active legal actions).

The only legal avenue is to strictly say that students have all Constitutional rights at all times (today they are treated as CHILDREN who are controlled by parents or those acting in a baby-sitting capacity - there is no law extending Constitutional rights to children while "baby-sitting" the little brats).
