'What appeared to be a murder-suicide in McLean, Va., over the summer might have been a double murder, police said.
New information shows that the suspect in the shootings may have altered and staged the crime scene to look like a murder-suicide, WUSA-TV reported.'
'Cops at the time believed that the younger Hargan had pulled the trigger on her mother, before taking her own life in the family’s $1.3 million Virginia home'.
'A warrant was filed the night of the shooting and then again seven days later.
The warrants were recently unsealed, revealing a detective wrote in the second warrant that “the scene may have been altered and staged by the suspect,” WUSA-TV reported.'
'It also showed that Megan Hargan, another daughter of Pamela Hargan’s, attempted fraudulent wire transfers from her mother’s bank account.'

It’s the one year anniversary of this double murder or murder/suicide. This weekend all the belongings from the Dean Avenue home are being sold. Rather eerie to be walking around the place. All of Pamela’s clothings and shoes were for sale it didn’t look like anything had been disturbed in her room for the last year. Anyone ever hear updates on this case? Given the timing of the sale, it makes you wonder if it had been tied up in some kind of civil/criminal investigation and maybe they’re just now able to move forward in selling items.
If the wire transfer attempts, phone calls and such are true, it does sound awfully suspicious.
I hope their loved ones get answers some day.
