HS basketball

Fellow basketball fans - who is the region favorite? Is little mackey from Westpot the real deal? Is he the best 2 guard in the region? Will he keep West Potomac at the top of the pack? They have that one two punch with mackey and the 7-footer plus the coaching prowess of Houston. Thoughts?

If I had to guess the pre season leaders are pretty much the usual suspects. Woodson, South Lakes, Battlefield. West Potomac will be down compared to the last few years. South County and Langley should be in the mix as well. Heard Westfield got a few transfers as well.

Langley is super down, like last place in cobference down.

Woodson,Wakefield, South Lakes,South County, Centreville, Westfield, Fairfax are the best teams this year.

I heard a lot of kids that live in Maryland and DC go to West Potomac my son tells me. Why are they allowed to go to that school?

Edison will flame out as usual,because the players are undisciplined and the coach cares more about being friends with his players than being a role model/leader. The only reason he still has the job is because of his skin color. The Principal, Pam Brumfield hates white males.

Believe about 25% of what you hear from a high school student especially about sports, rules, residency, etc. Who in their right mind would commute from Maryland or DC to West Potomac?
