I have been trying to get an appointment at my dealer for "recommended services" and get a recall item repaired and it is a serious pain in the ass. They want you to drop your car off and leave it with them for the day and make use of their shuttle service instead of giving you a specific appointment time and duration. Why would I want to have to deal with that hassle when I can pull into Jiffy Lube whenever it is convenient to me and be done with it in short order. That is why Jiffy Lube gets high marks, convenience.

I used to work at a local dealership that also did oil changes etc for our customers. The only issue I ever had was when a skinny white girl dropped her car off for routine maintenance - she complained to my boss! I was in the driver’s seat, checking the mileage when an unexpected and massive spurt of diarrhea erupted from deep within. I tried clenching, but just couldn’t, and it made a huge mess on the seat.

When she picked up the car, I told her that the watery stool had been there when she dropped it off. She threw a fit, going as far as to point out chunks of meat in the oily poo and claiming that she is a vegetarian. The dealership made me replace the seat, but she didn’t know that I slashed her spare tire and put a slow leak in one of the tires currently on the car.

I took my car to Peking Gourmet Inn to have the oil changed. That was worse than Jiffy Lube, And you are a man who lays with other men.

I have gotten at least 100 oil changes from Jiffy Lube. They have gotten it right every time.

I use Jiffy Lube once in awhile. I have a old 1988 Ford Ranger I keep as a spare vehicle. Last time I took it to Jiffy Lube they had to call me out of the waiting room to pull the Ranger out of the service bay, none of the kids working that day knew how to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
They have never screwed up a oil change for me.
