Virginia has eclipsed Maryland and D.C. in immigrant increases over the past six years, up a whopping 120,050 people from other nations, with no distinction made between legal and illegal immigrants.
"The enormous number of immigrants already in the country coupled with the settlement of well over a million newcomers each year has a profound impact on American society, including on workers, schools, infrastructure, hospitals and the environment. The nation needs a serious debate about whether continuing this level of immigration makes sense."

To put this in perspective, there were 188,402 students enrolled in FCPS in September.

Please tell me WHY we should educate illegals? Have you heard
how they sit in special classes and only speak to each other in
their native language? Many don't even try to learn. Educating all these children (some are over 18) is killing FCPS budget but the liberal school board
members have allowed this. I do not want Fairfax County or our
state to be a sanctuary county or state. We can't afford it.
We need to take care of Americans, Virginians and Fairfax County
legal residents first. Can I go to another country and expect
free food, medical care, childcare, education? NO!! The UN can
pay for it! It's stretching our resources too much. It brings
the education of our own citizens down.
