This is something that has been needed for years. Backups on the MD side cause traffic problems all the way into Tysons Corner.
It is fucking stupid that such a busy road is only two lanes at one point.
I wish he was our Governor, MacAuliffe sucks ass.

In The "Free State" of Maryland where Self Defense Is Not Allowed..The Gov.is on the 3 member Public Works Board and It takes 2 of the 3 to vote to do anything at all..
He is A RINO..he would not support President Trump.. There are VERY Few Real Republicans in Maryland..Mostly in the far western mountain areas of the state and the Eastern Shore..
Where is the Maryland Beltway 2 lanes..?? Maybe in Mount Gum..Bump Co..Land Of Liberals..where it has a snake like look near the Morman Temple..
A Lil History..That section was one of the hardest to get built..The subdivisions were expensive even by 1960..the place was infested with libs of the day and age plus the Rock Creek river and other ravines And they had a hell of a battle getting land to run the road..hence the Snake Look..Good For Maryland to widen it thou..Hope I wont have to go thru there..TILL ITS FINISHED..LOL!!

Hmmmm. So, out in the wonderland of shake (quakes) and bake (most of the population) they have stacked highways. Why, here where a quake is beyond rare, do we keeling going wide and not vertical with the highways beltway and whatever?
