Republicans hate government run schools and believe it is how democrats fund taking over politics and how democrats fund illegals and even funnel money out of the usa.
In the 80's a person had to pay a privately owned school to get a bachelor's and loans were rare and not guarunteed in any way whatsoever. However: a person could work without "government certification" and infact companies ran their own classes, most of them trained candidates for FREE.

Luther Strange – like many establishment Republicans – supports the most recent federal education law called the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) – which still requires the federal government to approve of the education plans of every state.

a business teaches what you need to know to do YOUR job not someone elses. it's %100000 more efficient. there is no program of free meals or dance classes for illegals.
there are admitted trade-offs between government funded and private funded initiatives
a problem with "bing / google learning" is cheating: how do you know who knows what?
a problem with college learning is global stupidity: people learning about things that ARE WRONG IN THE INDUSTRY THEY ARE TRAINING FOR (possibly run by asians who have deals with foreign factories - who were let in by democrats), not to mention they are held up studying things that are injected SIMPLY TO MAKE EDUCATION TAKE LONGER $$
the BALANCE is way off. democrats have burned law books and their neighbors as well.
a problem with "google learning" is cheating: how do you know who knows what? a half answer is: BOOK SMARTS DON'T MEAN SHIT. field achievement is a better measure for a private industry if the person "gets it" or is "a nerd with his/her head in the sand".
google or BING learning unhinges the ability of democrat publishers to offer biased learning books at $175 a pop. google and BING learning doesn't require tons of paper but does require power but not gasoline.
teaching in general requires sitting in a class listening to a boob tell you what you've already read. it's WAY TOO SLOW PACED for someone like me. it does allow questions? not really: harvard class size doesn't allow "questions" and harvard is as communist as it gets.
bing or google has forums, and the real issue there is no apprenticeship. but apprenticeship should be IN THE FIELD not by chat forum anyway.

(infact there were "state run schools" but they worked on a tight budget and HAD TO KEEP THEIR BOOKS STRAIGHT - students had to pay for instruction AND moreso, the cost of a stamp had to pay for the cost of delivery (no debt was allowed))

DON'T FORGET ABOUT CONTINUAL EDUCATION
Your gov employees, since clinton, have mandated that all employees gov but also PRIVATE, continually hand gov workers money to "be educated"
