National Memorial Gardens--watch your step

Took a walk there and found a lot of holes in the terrain, to put it mildly. Some gravesites were noticeably sunken and there were random small holes everywhere. Is this place going down the tubes or what? What's the deal with it?

Sometimes when they bury someone who is not quite dead, the person in the coffin shakes about wildly causing the soil to settle unevenly.

very likely funded by an obama non-profit to "check on the dead make sure the soil is ok"
