Is GMU promoting and glorifying the "pimping" of women?

At Saturday's GMU basketball game, there was a man right down on the floor level dressed up as a pimp who was directing the GMU band.

Did anybody else notice this?

And does anybody else find this completely offensive and inappropriate?

i was at the game and noticed the pimp...
