After reading all the information on FFXU regarding Deeds and McDonnell, and after watching all the tv ads, I have come to the conclusion to cast my vote for McDonnell.
He seems to be the better of the two candidates.

Four years with McDonnell will be worse than four years with Deeds. McDonnell will fund his initiatives by 'making state government more efficient', and has taken tax increases off the table. Four years ago, before the downturn and multiple cuts to all agencies I may have agreed with this. I don't see the money coming out of greater efficiency being enough to fund transportation, actually services - and education will ultimately suffer under McDonnell.
Look for more gridlock, less services, more layoffs (like in VDOT), less money for K12, and maximum tuition increases under McDonnell.
Deeds is the better conservative on November 3.

Sorry about that. I get overly excited about the overt gayness of Republican candidates.
I guess if Republicans win, it will be like that time I saved up enough oatmeal box tops and I redeemed them for a balsa-wood glider. That glider broke, but the feeling of winning something made me feel so special inside.

Doesn't matter who wins....the State is broke.
No contracts to award to their buddies, no nuthin. McDonnell will give away the ABC stores but that's nickels and dimes.
As always, the buck will be passed to the Cities and Counties who will either raise taxes or drastically cut services.
