Think positive. Tear them all down so the Park Service can have their budget reduced, you won't have maintenance on the monuments and since there will be a reduced Federal presence in DC cut back on the Federal payment to the District. I was never that fond of Johnny Reb but this is starting to seem like a winner!

Don't give em ideas. We had them fooled for years into thinking that obelisk was dedicated to Washington. But anyone driving by at night and seeing that 550 monument bathed in pure white light with glowering red eyes peering out from a pointed hood recognizes it immediately as a Klansman keep watch on things below.

Taking down history may not be the best idea for any American. Putting up monuments of individuals who made a positive difference for the country in recent history may be more appropriate. This way, you show the history through the years. Not just one segment of history.
It’s not good to try to erase history. The south is much more than the loser of the Civil War.
Monuments placed in remembrance of our ancestors is also a testament to where we are now in relation to the past. If you remove this part of history, you diminish our present history.
