Halloween Beatdown

I just heard about a fight over at Glenn Park. Some eses beat a dude down with beer bottles, and he fled to an upstairs apartment. They're allegedly gang bangers, all dressed in Grey and Black hoodies, but one of them was apparently in the Halloween spririt, he's rocking an Oragne shirt under his Black hoodie.

Lol, just heard that some girl tried to pay her cab fare with a credit card, and the cabbie jumped out of the taxi and chased her with a stick.

Cabs in NoVA accept credit cards.

Stop talking tool. No one cares. Oh-and nice racial quips. You text that from your Klan meeting last night?

Technically, you can pay them by credit card. However, you'll go through a lot of hassle if you're trip's under $60 bucks. For some reason, that's the cabbie threshold of acceptable credit card use.

I usually pay with my credit card and have never been treated like it's a hassle. Even when it's been a short 20 dollar + tip fare, the cabbies have always just swiped the card and said thanks.

I wouldn't do it if it were like 10 bucks though.

Weird. Every time I call and say I'm paying with a card, it takes a half hour to find someone. Cash gets them here in five minutes.

When I've offered to pay by card on a trip back from DC, they try to get me to go to an ATM. I'm sure it has something to do with them not reporting some tips.

I've never had any trouble paying with a credit card. Is she was smart she would of called Sober Ride last night. Fares up to $50 to go home were free.

Halloween is a prime time for gangs to seek revenge on people. They can dress in masks and get away with tons of shit because they fit right in.

A buddy of mine was attacked by a gang seeking revenge on Halloween a number of years ago. He opened up his door thinking it was trick or treaters and got rushed by 4 gang members in ski masks. They beat him up and tried to kill him.

One time some trick or treaters came to my house dressed as gang bangers, lets say they weren't too interested in the Butterfingers when the door opened and they where staring down the barrel of a .475 Wildey.

Damn, are you serious?

I remember one time in my neighborhood many years ago, some father was walking his kids down the street, when he noticed a car driving by with its headlights off. He told the kid driving the car that he needed to turn his lights on, especially given the fact that kids were all over the place Trick-O'Treating. So the car of teens continues to drive on down the road, they turn around in a Cul-de-sac, and as they come back their headlights are still off. They say something to the father, and he walks up to the passenger-side window to remind them to turn their lights back on, but they yank him in the car and start beating the crap out of him. He pulled himself out of the car, and they jumped out and started trying to stomp him. He managed to fight them off,and they fled. After that, and for the next few years of Halloween, some of the adults in the neighborhood arranged themselves into a group and they patrolled the area while the kids were out. We never had any trouble again.

Back in 2003 at my old residence, my neighbor had a large group of black teens try to push themselves into her house. Luckily her large husband managed to block them and push them all back out. It was sad to see somebody who despite having grown kids, was forced to stop handing out candy because of some asshats.

I answered my door this halloween with a Glock on my hip, a Kahr in my back pocket, and various ARs tactically staged around the house.

Kids/Gang Bangers/Idiots are in abundance this year and you never know what is going to greet you when you open the door.

Stay safe people.
