Generous George's in Springfield was like the movie "American graffiti"

They prob closed because their food&flavor costs were around 90%!

Then, I went to the original one off duke street near ireton! Awesome vibe!

Someone should start it up again so cheeep bastards like me can get diabetes again.

I would get baked ziti served on a medium Hawaiian pizza!

Then, I would go home and watch free EVERY CHANNEL bc I had the chip in the old cox boxes! Thank you Vinnie for the hookup!

Resurrecting this "eatery/feedlot" would make Springfield the top spot on the hover chair sales chart!

You know...the thing about that place was...decent, not exceptional food...at cheap prices.

But, Generous George's? No, that place should've been called Generous Brown Water Pouring Out My Asshole 8 Hours Later...diarrhea...every...damn...time.

Cheeseburger pizza and Taco pizza will forever be classics!

Carnival theme in Annandale was always fun.

It is missed.

Precisely. It was not fantastic, but it was pretty good. They had all different sizes of beer glasses, too. The pizza was not fantastic, but it was allright and they actually put some pepperoni and sausage on the thing, unlike most of these chains these days, where you get all of three pieces of microscopic mystery meat.

The help was always polite and if anything were wrong, they fixed it right away.

I heard he just wanted to retire and he didn't want his rep ruined, so he just shut down, took his money and moved to Florida. He supposedly spends summers in Maine and the rest of the year in Florida.

George had a stroke, many years ago, and was in a coma, but is alive and unable to walk or feed himself, etc. He's sadly in bad shape.

His 'retirement' was not by choice.
