Damn, I just started Cambell in Madden NFL. He's much quicker then Brunell, although he lacks in accuracy.

I was so excited earlier tonight that I jerked off twelve times. I've had to do that to practice photos and film before... but now I will be able to jerk off to live game footage of Jason!!!! Dreamy Jason...

I'm not sure what excites me most about the prospect of Jason playing a game finally. Is it the way his smooth, creamy hands touch the ball and just turn the pigskin to goosebumps? Maybe it is the way he bends over center and turns on his manly playcalling voice. I could imagine him bending over me, yelling orders at the top of his lungs. I bet, I HOPE, he would order to me to give him a backrub. Or a chest massage.

Then after Jason has won the game with his incredible long passes and amazing downfield analyses, I'd let him into my pocket for a little play-action. He'd send me to the moon. then we'd head to the team sauna. Seeing Jason in just a little towel would probably make me have a heart attack. I wish I were a woman, so I could have Jason Campbell's children.

With Portis out and a new QB I think the Skins are in for a tough time the next couple of weeks. I think we also should consider the fact that Gibb's might not be the answer we thought he was. Perhaps Snyder should go too!

It's about time. It is the right thing to do if they intend to make Jason Campbell THE quarterback of the future. Hopefully they won't waste him the way they did Patrick Ramsey....but they will.

Heh!

In Madden, Alex Smith is fucking John Elway. I wouldn't put too much stock in that.

The only waste on Ramsey was playing him. The only connections in the air he could ever make was to the opposing team. I was at FedEx a few seasons ago when Brunell's injuries and fuckups finally got him benched for Ramsey and I was one of the drunken idiots praising the decision. However it was still obvious that Ramsey was no long-term solution.

Tony Banks was the guy who brought the team back from an 0-5 deficit under Marty Schottenheimer to an 8-8 record. Dan Snyder rewarded Tony and Marty by firing them. As for Shane Matthews, he was Spurrier's guy. He was among the least incompetent players Spurrier brought in from the University of Florida (remember Trung Canidate? What a loser that dude was.)

Not to deny his utter lack of skills, Canidate went to Arizona.

No matter where Trung Canidate went to school, he graduated from the School of Suck.

Low class move trying to blame brunell for poor play by the rest of the team. Anyone not see thru this scam? Dropped passes, poor defensive secondary coverage, stupid penalties and inept special teams. I never knew Brunell had anything to do with that part of the losses. Might as well let campbell go out there and take his lumps.

Yeah I don't think the problems are rooted with Brunell. But the team needed to decide on who the future QB is going to be, and if it's Campbell then now is the perfect time to get him some experience now that the season is basically over. At least Brunell is a decent second-stringer in case of injury.

Yeah, it's sorta like the 99 season when the Eagles finally benched Doug Pederson with 7 games left, in order to get McNabb some real time experience behind the center. McNabb wasn't that impressive that year, but it gave him time to develop, and he did great the next season. I'm not saying Campbell is as talented as McNabb, but this is the smart move for the Skins to make at this point.

I don't think there is any way you can blame this mess all on Brunell.

As I recall, the Redskins Defense went from #9 to #30. They have a $30 million Safety playing back-up to a 37-year-old Corner playing Safety for the league minimum. They have two back-up Corners who came in off of waivers. They can't pressure the passer. They can't cover the pass.

Special teams is horrendous. Nick Novak should be in the Arena League. Sorry. He seems like a nice kid, but he can't reliably make a kick over 40 yards and with this Redskins' Offense, that's death.

As for Brunell going deep, he doesn't throw deep enough. But neither do most QBs. If Brunell is being chased out of the pocket, he won't throw deep. If he is succumbing to the pass rush, he won't throw deep. And when he does throw deep, Santa Moss will be in double coverage and Lloyd will be sure to drop it.

Putting Campbell in is a good idea. I just hope by next year they have the rest of the team figured out. Odds are Gibbs won't be coaching, so I'm sure the team personnel will still be in flux.

Agreed. The Skins made their choice when they drafted Campbell on who is going to eventually lead the show. There is absolutely nothing lost, even if the Skins lose every game here on out, with removing Brunell because playoff hopes are nil at this point. The loss to the Eagles was a huge blow, but losing Portis for the season was the final nail.

Maybe Campbell can spark this lifeless team. If Gibbs is using him to build around I hope little danny snyder knows about it and gives Gibbs the time he will need.

Dan Snyder needs to get a decent personnel guy instead of this Vinny Cerrato clown. What the Redskins need are player personnel people like you have at Denver, New England and Indianapolis - folks who can find diamonds in the rough through the draft and other teams' discards. Personnel guys who can find people like Terrell Davis, Tom Brady, Ed McCaffrey, Mike Anderson and Marvin Harrison.

Instead, Cerrato trades away guys like Champ Bailey, Levar Arrington, Fred Smoot and Ryan Clark and replaces them with over-paid flops like Adam Archuleta and David Patten. The Redskins need more people like James Thrash, Ladell Betts and Troy Vincent - guys who play with heart who don't cost $30 million.

I agree with you but washington has a habit of betting on unproven college talent. College is one thing, pro is another. Every team has been burned on hot college prospects but washington seems to more than anyone.

The last time a team made something out of nothing was George Allen with the over the hill gang. He pulled guys considered too old from the L A Rams and moved them to DC. Each had a few years left in them and proved it by winning. They had heart that todays overpaid "superstars" will never have.

Anyone see Randy Moss playing for the Raiders. What a disgrace he was. He actually knocked down a pass thrown to him. Then he sat on the bench and acted like he was sleeping. Washed up player way overpaid. Truthfully the Raiders should make history by being the first team to sue a player for not fulfilling his contact.

The Raiders are a model for what the Redskins are becoming. A bunch of over-paid egos who refuse to execute. The only big-pay players on the Redskins with heart are Portis, Moss, Brunell and a couple of the linebackers. The rest are there for the check.

I agree on Randy Moss. The guy has been a disgrace for years. At least T.O. is a dick because he wants EVERY pass thrown to him. Randy Moss has acted like he hasn't wanted to play at all for years. If that's the case, the asshole should retire.

Are the Redskin games even worth watching? They might as well bring in the third string and save players for next year.

They were good this weekend.

Love how Adam "The 30 Million Dollar Man" Archuleta couldn't even protect the punter while playing Special Teams. Time to set his $30 million ass on the bench.
