cliffs?

1. I'm gonna start with the obvious-
Ya'll aunt from 'round here- are ya.

2. this is the DMV: the kind of cliffs most people jump, fall, or get pushed off or around here tend to be one or more of the following;
C.areer, P.olitical, S.ocial
(note: all the things FFXU regulars love to rip)

back to your mission to self-remove from the genepool. We have lots of cliffs, 'cause ya know- mountains- a number of gorges. A crap load of bridges and of course, Great Falls. All great choices if walking away after a jump is not a high priority.

Also, VA has a tourist board listing all the cool things you can do through-out the state...like, staying the hell outta PW and PG (MD) counties.

Your spelling indicates you already found the bottom of a cliff the hard way.

Great Falls has some wonderful outcroppings to leap from. What with the undertow, and the numerous rocks hidden just beneath the surface of the water, this location should provide you the challenge you desire.

Yup, go to Great Falls. Take a camera too. There are some pretty cute kayakers there too.

I'll throw you a bone.
Occoquan/Bull Run on the PW side.

If someone suggests Popes Head Creek, don't do it. I remember a guy was paralyzed hitting a rock in the water in the 90's.

there actually aren't that many rocks in the river once you get past the main part of the falls.

So far this year 5 people have died in that stretch. They find the body downstream by the 495 bridge.

Find a pool with a high dive instead of a cliff.

When I was a kid we used to go cliff diving at the old quarry in Lorton next to the fairfax water plant. This is just across the river from occoquan.

That's because they need warning signs in more languages.

I don't know how high Key Bridge is but I think the water is deep there. I guess you'd have to be a really good diver though to make sure you were entering the water right. Would make a unique youtube video.

this spot has rocks about 20 to 30 ft over what looks like deep water...however, would probably have to jump out at least 10 feet and since the rocks are far from flat good chance you would trip on a run up and crawling back on shore even after avoiding the rocks would be tough...but what a rush

Wow, it's cool that you and your friends love outdoor activities. Diving is a very interesting hobby. My friends and I also often go diving. We have been looking for a service that will help us have a great time. Phuket Scuba Diving was a great choice. These guys have excellent equipment, thanks to which they can dive up to twelve meters. We also had newcomers who were well instructed. Now we recommend these guys to anyone who wants to try diving. Turn to them, you and your friends will like it :)

Hi man. That's great that you decided to try diving. But you know what, I would recommend you to try scuba diving someday. It would be a whole another experience for you. At least it was for me. I still can't forget it. And before actually buying the whole equipment and preparing yourself I would recommend you to read more about it. Here is a reliable article that you could read in your free time if you are interested in this topic.

That's true, I've been there a few times, and I can tell you it's definitely worth trying if you'll ever be there. It doesn't require major expenses or special training, so you can just get the best underwater camera for snorkeling for a good price and capture the beauty of the underwater world there, you won't be disappointed.
