Senior Skip Day at Westfield

Has anyone here gone to Westfield? What does the attendance office say about Senior Skip Day? Is it unexcused or excused?

And what if my mom calls? What would they say?

its unexcused, but if your mom calls with and excuse then its excused. the school does not endorse senior skip days.

Yeah, ummmmm.....I'm a sophomore at Tech with a 3.7, I think I'll be fine. College matters, high school doesn't. I did enough to get into Tech (my #1 school), it's really your junior year grades colleges look at. I "didn't give a fuck" my senior year, relaxed my schedule, skipped occasionally, and was fine. Now I'm putting in major work in college and excelling. I slacked senior year because I wanted a break before college and grad school. Most of the kids who stressed all through senior year got to college and couldn't handle their new freedom. They wanted a break from high school so they did poorly in their classes, partied 24/7 on weekdays, and were basically acting like kids in a candy shop. That's why I'm on the Dean's list and they're explaining to mommy and daddy why their high school success didn't carry over.
