The Trumptards buy but never sell their silver. They bought it at $25/ounce, and need to wait 50 years for it even to get to back to that point. Don't take financial advice from commercials on Fox News at 3am and in the middle of a workday.

Oh shoot, sorry! I thought this was in the off-topic forum, sorry, I was an ass. It's a fair question for the general forum. Most dealers in this area charge too much of a mark-up. I'd go Craig's list if you want to buy in hand but why not just online? Markup is minimal and you usually get free shipping. I like Provident metals.

In my opinion, now is the best moment to invest in silver and silver coins. As far as I know now, the rate has dropped enough and now it is really an ideal opportunity to invest in silver. If you don't believe you can read in this article about where the silver price is heading https://www.moneymetals.com/news/2020/07/21/where-are-silver-prices-headed-002084. In general, the main thing is to find a good supplier who can offer a quality product. There are many services that sell precious metals that are not valuable. And thus just scam people for money. Make no mistake when choosing a service from which you will buy coins or silver, it is really important.

When you buy silver you pay more than the spot price for the product. When you sell it you get less than the market value for it. Those commissions are far greater than what you'd pay if you bought or sold securities. While you hold the product you don't get interest or dividends. The only thing finding a "good supplier" will do for you is provide reasonable assurance that when you overpay you are at least getting what you pay for.

In March 2020 silver was $11.00 per oz. I locked in 500K worth, and I sold it off 2 weeks ago when it hit $28.00 per oz.

Nice fat profit
