Apparently wawa goes to great lengths about shoplifters! In Waldorf, some hs girl was caught shoplifting on tape, and the sheriffs office posted pics of her and she was later identified. Then, they noticed another wawa location had video of the girl doing the same thing, and more charges were filed.

What is the statute of limitations for larceny?

So, how stupid are the PWC police and detectives? They arrest a guy for shoplifting, and the guy has no ID but claims he plays for Dallas, and is “Lucky” Whitehead. Let’s be clear, here, Whitehead, who was born in this area and went to high school at Osborne in Manassas, is somewhat well known in this area, so Police, could have contacted relatives in the area to confirm it was actually Whitehead. They did not. Police could have asked if he needed to call the NFL Players Association for legal help (which is a benefit of being a member of the association), they did not. They could have offered to drive him to get any, I mean any, ID, they did not. There is a lot they could have done to confirm it was Whitehead, and they were scammed. They even let this really strange incident fly for weeks without a follow up. Did they run the plate of the car and ask this unidentified person about the owner of the car, or did they ask him things like, “what is Tony Romo really like?” A,nd it appears our men in blue were satisfied with this fraud’s answers.
