These are not bad suggestions and would be just fine in a college town. DAJAX claims to be a food aficionado but just know that the first recipe he shared in his self-created DAJAX thread to share all his awesome food knowledge, was toast...literally toasted white bread.

I vote Haveabite in Fairfax or Eleni's in Springfield. If you are going for the college town quality, malek's in Springfield beats those other two. That's just in my opinion though. However, I lived in Europe, went to Greece often, and used to cook in a restaurant. That being said, in all fair disclosure, I'm on the "hate Trump" side of things so take that for what it is and may affect your respect of my opinion as it oppositely affects my stance on DAJAX's judgment.

Plaka Grill Vienna, VA not far from the Amphora.

Not a real sit down restaurant, but pretty good food.

The Greek Taverna McLean is not bad either

>and used to cook in a restaurant

Was The Scatta Fresh??.And that was Told to me by a Real Greek who owned a Restrauant..LOL..

Primos ..Real Greek..Real Greek Food. Moussaka, Baklava..Lemon Chicken..

I like the chicken Souvaliki Platterso m uch I copy it..But mines not as good..the Marinade..I know what in it, red vinegar, lemon juice , olive oil and a lil bit of hot pepper and oregano. But I don't make it as good as Primos..

DAJAX Sauted Marinated Chicken Breast with Greek Flat Bread..Not Pita Bread No pockets, Greek Kalamata Olives ,Pepperoncini. Tomato wedges. Feta Cheese, Greek Salad Dressing over a bed of fresh green salad..Low Fat, Low Cal and good for ya..bout 13 dollars 12 some to go..

My Fake Of Primos Souvlaki. On The card Table..Not the Fancy Dining One With The Sea Shells..

Elenis in Springfield off commerce st. Delicious authentic Greek food. I had the Dolmathes which were awesome. These are grape leaves hot with rice and ground beef in it topped with a delicious lemon sauce. Their Greek salad was pretty righteous also, good amount of feta cheese.

Sort of Greek I guess... same continent anyway... best fish is Arthur Treacher's. Amazing fried fish. Better than any Greek food hands down. Amazing cole slaw, too.

No, it's not. And I don't get the crowds. It's totally bland, no flavor. Worst of all the locals in my option. But yes, crowded. Burke is renown for failed small restaurants. It's not an old population per se but people seem to love old people food in the town.

A stone's throw from the infamous L.amb C.enter and the Ffx Circle Arthur Treacher's memorial, Pan Am Family Restaurant has been serving up all manner of Greek yummies for years! (Fairfax's Finest would agree.)

It's an awesome place for a wholesome meal.

Next time you visit Micro Center, you should take a look at their menu and then try not to go in. Ha.

It's good food served by family.

They have a very fresh salad bar! I love all of their food, but the Mousaka is my favorite! My wife likes the steak and cheese in a sack.

They have the freshest salad bar and really good food and desserts!
I've been going there for over 30 years now and I've never been disappointed!
