Street Racing in 20171

Does anyone else in the 20171 zip here the late night racing that is going on somewhere near the western edge (Centreville Rd., McNair, West Ox)? It happens anywhere from 12-3 am. The noise is loud like Dominion Raceway level. Has happened the last 2 nights (10/20-21) and other nights over the past 3 months.

Well, it's best to notify Fairfax Underground before the police in these matters. You did the right thing.

Really? How can the police not hear all of this? They must drive around with earplugs. Besides, I can hear the phone conversation with the police, now..."I don't know where the noise is coming from...it is really loud, can't YOU hear it? No? stick your head out the window..." Police generally don't respond to calls like that. However,it does look like Superman will take care of this, so posting on FU was probably the correct thing to do.

See? This is why I refuse to ask a question here. Are you all adults? This person is asking a legitimate question. He wasn't asking for help in solving the matter - he was simply asking if anyone has had the same experience. Grow up people.

To the OP, yes, I hear it all the time in that area. Usually when I hear those engines racing up and down West Ox Road I listen for the resulting crash. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Well, as an adult, I don't see the point to this question. He wants to know if other people can hear the cars racing? Obviously, if he hears it, other people within range can hear it to. That's how sound works (unless you're deaf).

Does he want to know if other people on this site can hear it? If they live in that area, of course. That's how sound works (unless you're deaf).
