Gilipese almost lost to Corey Stewart, who seemed to be something of a populist challenger to the Republican establishment.I wonder if this would have caused a mini-schisim in the Republican voting base in Virginia, effectively cutting it in half?

Northam on the other hand, beat Tom Perrielo decisvely, but the Tom still managed to get a pretty enormous chunk of the vote at 45%. This indicates some level of a split, but I don't know if it's as dramatic as in the VA Republican Base.

I am disappointed and mad that Perrielo was crushed unfairly by the establishment Democrats who showered Northam with money and tactical support. It was like Bernie Sanders all over again.

I am also disappointed that Perrielo caved in to express support for Northam so soon, with nothing offered in return.

It all sucks.

I would have written in Cucinelli until Northam sent full retard with the his commercials calling Trump a narcissistic maniac. That went so far over the line that I'll hold my nose and vote for Gillespie in Nov. I was a Corey Stewart guy.

If frank Wagner had not been in the race, Cory Stewart would have won the Republican primary.
