Why was the might have passed away 17 years old a a Sophomore? Is it common for Muslims to be 17 and a sophomore in high school?

Most kids turn 16 their sophomore year in high school, so a 17 year old sophomore isn't a big variation. You may find most had parents who decided to delay their enrollment in kindergarten or first grade. With the influx of older child immigrants it is becoming more common to see a 17 year old freshman.

My kid was 17 years old when they started College.

That's also within the normal variation.

sHE WAS A 17 sophomore because she failed the 9th grade and was probably going to fail again this year this is what happens when you never attend class and you don't take school very seriously

I don't mean to be snide, but if she was going to 10th grade at 17, she may have had developmental problems.

Let's See, most Muslim Women are strictly for Child bearing...Remember Them Shooting young Girls in the Head for going to school...She's lucky to be in the 105th grade at 17, she's a success story!

I guess she wasn't so innocent. I knew something fishy was going on, but you never know. She always shes hate crime when is not a hate crime.

My GF had this Pakki neighbor. He had 2 sons and a daughter. The daughter was 14. He sent the daughter to school only because the law in Virginia said he had to. The parents had already sold the daughter to some rich guy in Saudi Arabia who'd come for her when she turned 16. He told his daughter to do bad in school. He didn't want his daughter to find out she was in America, so she didn't have to be sold to some guy in Saudi Arabia if she didn't want to. What was real bad was GF tried to tell her she didn't have to get sold, she said she already knew she'd been sold and didn't care. So she did bad in school. I guess she's long been sold by now.

That was terribly snide of you...

I had a 16 year old girl in my 8th grade gym class. She had flunked a couple of grades and been to rehab.
