Cedar Lakes

does anyone know what is going on in the cedar lakes subdivision off of west ox in fairfax? the streets are blocked off and the swat is present.

I'm not sure either, but when I left around 7am, it was also blocked off. Thought the issue would be resolved by now?

I live on the street that was blocked off and my suspicion is that someone was holding another resident against their will--there was a negotiator present. The police this morning were very vague of course but said something to the effect of "someone armed & dangerous was in the area." I think it resolved peacefully around 9am when everyone started packing up their gear.

thanks for mentioning this, I am interested as well, I live right off of Cedar Lakes and just noticed that a robot was being loaded back into a van.

Thanks for the info. I never heard mention of the event in the news. Cedar Lakes has had several crimes in the last 6 months or so. I just moved from that area. Stay safe!
