Falls Church Woman Arrested Following
Domestic Violence Incident

Mason Police District - A 29-year-old Falls Church woman was charged with malicious wounding, assault and battery and interrupting an emergency phone call following an incident with her boyfriend in the 3400 block of Payne Street. Ingrid Herrera is accused of dousing her boyfriend with rubbing alcohol and setting him afire at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, October 18. A 24-year-old woman, who lived in the home, heard screaming and attempted to contact police but the suspect allegedly grabbed the cell phone and pushed her in an attempt to thwart the call for help.

The victim, a 29-year-old Falls Church man, suffered burns to the upper half of his body and was transported to Washington Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors recognizes that domestic violence is a serious issue in our community. Services for victims of domestic violence are offered through the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Programs, which are part of the Office for Women. These programs provide victims of sexual and domestic violence with safe shelter, counseling, support groups, and 24-hour hotlines through the Fairfax Women’s Shelter and the Victim Assistance Network. I'd hit that... with a baseball bat! Man is she rough lookin, and I have never seen such a hiarline before. That's what she was mad about, her hair and blaming that poor guy for her I'll lot in life. That's what it was, the HAIRLINE! Remember the line above, remember the hairline!

To make matters worse, her boyfriend had to miss work the next day and got fired.

He should file a lawsuit against his former employer for discrimination since he is rumored to be a flaming homosexual.

setting someone on fire is fucked up because it's common people live from such attacks but are heavily scarred. at 29, there isnt much you can do to change a person for the better. i would give her 10 years with no chance of parole.

A West Virginia woman upset because her husband removed her as a beneficiary on his insurance policy allegedly shot him Oct. 21.

Flor Demaria Slone, 41, of Kearneysville, W.Va., was being held Thursday at Eastern Regional Jail without bond on felony counts of kidnapping and malicious assault, according to court records.

Her husband, Stephen K. Slone, 45, was being treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., after being shot in the chest at his home in Inwood, W.Va., according to an article in the Herald-Mail newspaper.

The couple, which had been separated came together when the woman approached her husband’s house and he opened the door, according to the report. After about three hours, she allegedly pointed a .22 caliber pistol at his head, then picked up a pillow and fired one shot through it, which missed. The second shot hit him in the right chest and exited his back, the newspaper reported.

She then dropped the gun and he went to a neighbor’s house, where he called for help.

Sloane told police he asked his estranged wife to “watch over” his house and told her at that time that he had removed her from his insurance policy, court records cited by the paper.
