The Most Over-used Word on 106.7 The Fan

Can any host on the former JFK get through a show without using the word 'clearly'?
I just heard Dukes use it 3 times within 30 seconds.

Clearly, the most over-used word is clearly.

"Donk" would have to be a real close second

The phrase, "I'm quitting and going back to work as an assistant manager at Toys R Us," isn't heard nearly enough.

Stating the obvious here but "The Fan" is said way too much.

106-7 The Fan, 106-7 The Fan, 106-7 The Fan, 106-7 The Fan, 106-7 The Fan....

We get it! Shut up already! At least call letters like WJFK are not as annoying. Anytime a station calls themselves something like "free FM" or "the arrow" or whatever it annoys the hell out of me.

Another one that I feel is over-used is "essentially". Mike Wise uses this word a ton.

Na the most overused word is "uh". Closely followed by "um".

I stopped listening after the switchover.

I stopped listening this morning when the Junkies tried to do math on the air. It was painful. I wonder how many times the change drawer at Toys R Us was off each night.

Luckily, wtl, most retail places have a multi-person count so morons like the junks can't fuck it up.

They all mention the phrase "Chime In". I hate it. Come up with something else!

JP from the Junks sounds real gay when he says "the fan" as they cut to commercial.

Did you also hear the commerical for Farrish Dodge or something where Cakes makes mention of his Toys R Us gig.

Lurch of the junkies spewing about the "hottie/cougar" he saw "last night at Clydes".

Message to Lurch: Get laid already!!

Message to Chad Dukes: Quit bringing up idiotic topics like - "Should the Redskins return to RFK?"; or "Who will Dan Synder listen to?".

Jeez Chad, can't you come up with anything better than that? You don't have to talk and let Lavar mumble for more that six minutes at a time.

Chad: The phones are locked and loaded, we'll get to your calls right after this break.

Lavar: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Another Message to Chad Dukes: Your show sux. Sorree....!

WJFK? Is that abortion of a radio station still on the air?

Or, "What makes a sport a sport." It's irrelevant and nobody cares. The Skins won't be back at RFK. Dan Snyder listens to himself. And hackey sack is not a sport and I've never given it a second thought anyway.

No. It's not WJFK, it's 106.7 the fan. Pay attention. ;-)
