Wow. You're smart.

Seriously, what's your problem? If you hate the Redskins so much, why do you even watch the games? So you can get all pumped up and say "fuck you" on the interwebs to a Skins fan when they lose? Classy.

Redskins fans are sad because the skins are sad.

What's sad is people like WTL who are not fans but follow the teams every move and spend hours watching the games and discussing everything Redskins. It makes no sense to me. I'm not a Cowboys fan so I spend little to no time or energy thinking about them. Why would I?

As I have said on here, I am a former fan. What is sad is people like you who take Danny Boy's abuse and then enable that abuse by providing him revenue. If you didn't buy his shit, he would have to sell the team. It's like you are in an abusive relationship, like a battered wife. Your showing up for games and buying over-priced Redskins merchandise isn't going to change anything.

Oh yeah that's right... You've been a Ravens fan for 10 years. Riiiight. Danny sucks, shocker. Thanks for the newsflash! It's a sad time to be a Skins fan indeed.

I'll root for the team of my choosing and spend my money as I see fit, thanks. You're free to do the same. What's interesting is how much you have invested in time and energy on a team you are not a fan of. Quite honestly, seems more like an abusive screwed up relationship than spending time and energy on a team that you ARE a fan of. Where are your Ravens threads/posts?

There have actually been many more under names other than WashingToneLocian.

But then again, the name of this forum isn't Baltimore Underground. It is Fairfax Underground. I usually respond to threads others start about the Redskins, such as this one.

Poor Zorn.

Hall of Famer Steve Largent described Redskins coach Jim Zorn as his daily confidant before blasting team owner Daniel Snyder and the organization during an interview with Mitch Levy of KJR radio in Seattle.

Among the highlights:

* Largent called Snyder's decision to name Sherm Lewis playcaller "a joke" and an embarrassment for the organization.

* Largent said he thought Snyder revoked play-calling duties in an effort to force Zorn to resign.

* Zorn did consider resigning, but decided against it because he isn't a quitter.

* The Redskins do not have the talent to succeed for Zorn, Joe Gibbs or anyone else.

* Snyder doesn't know what he wants in a coach.

Why don't you round up a group and take them up for consideration Vince, I am sure that would be highly entertaining.

Wait, why is the OP knocking a defense that didn't allow a TD against the Chiefs and is the around the 4th best in terms of points allowed per game (my math is probably off).

1. Because we won
2. Because we won, and we are terrible
3. Because we are ranked 24th in the league in scoring, and still won.
4. Because we are ranked 30th in total yards, and still won.
5. You are ranked 5th in yards allowed per game, we still won.
6. It does not matter what your ranked in points allowed per game, if you lose.

How many touchdowns did the skins score? HINT:=snyder era superbowl wins

Clearly, it has simply become just a game of chicken...who blinks first. Will it be Zorn who will quit and forgo his salary, or will it be Snyder who will fire him and have to pay him.

As painful as this is going to be for Zorn, it is the only sensible thing Danny Boy and Vinny had done during this whole "Zorn era" debacle. They have no one to replace Zorn. If Monday night is a disaster, as some are predicting, it is better to have an ineffective play-caller in Zorn than an embarrassing one under the "Sherm Coalition of Play Calling."

It's a complete embarrassment that this "vote of confidence" comes only after highly reliable rumors that they couldn't get anyone "worthy" to step in mid-season.

2 weeks AFTER the players asked for that vote.

I'll guess the front-office tinkering won't stop, after each horrific game. More embarrassment. At least Zorn has $4,000,000 reasons to suck it up.

I really think this whole play calling thing was a huge miscalculation on Danny Boy and Vinny's part. I think they set this whole thing up with the intent of forcing Zorn to quit. I think they expected Zorn would get mad and quit, they would plug Sherm Lewis in there for a game and that would somehow open the doors for Shanahan or Holmgren walking in (obviously in Danny Boy's fucking fantasyland imagination). Zorn called their bluff. As a result, Danny Boy and Vinny look like huge douchebags (bigger than normal) and are now coming up with this "Zorn has a job until the end of the season" to try to save face with the media, which isn't working based on Herm Edwards' comments.
