Anybody here ever have any good or bad experiences at Forever 21 stores?

Shop there often and always found the sales associates to be most helpful and courteous.

A few weeks ago, I asked a young sales associate to help me find a sweater in my size. We looked for some time and decided my size was not in stock. Rather than let it rest, the associate called some of the other stores to see if they could send one over. When that didn't work, we checked the internet and found it - I ordered it online.

Neither Macy's nor Lord & Taylor ever offered this level of service.

Forever 21 is where 40-something whores go to buy clothes that aren't age-appropriate in a pathetic attempt to relive their youth.

Didn't you know that 40 is the new 25? Do you think women spend hours each week at the gym for fun?

Your hostility is understandable though - when women near your age pass you by for the jocks, it's got to sting. But, can you blame them? No one wants to spend time with with a has been with an attitude

Don't shop there, the stuff never holds up past a few wash cycles.

First, I am happily married, unlike you, apparently. Second, women who dress to look 20 years younger than they actually are are just as pathetic as men who do it. Third, at some point, when a woman hits 50, no amount of plastic surgery, make-up or clothes is going to change the fact that you aren't 21 anymore.

Yeah, usually, but there are women out there that can pull it off. Like this chick I work with.

She's a 47 yo grandma, but I've never seen a granny like her. Must be good genes or something, but she is absolutely INCREDIBLE.

She has three equally gorgeous teenaged daughters and they all raid their mom's closet when they have a hot date!

Maybe, as you say, it will be all over in 3 years when she hits 50....but somehow I doubt it.

Of course you are; that's why you spend so much time talking to strangers on this forum than you do with your wife.

Or, maybe that's why your marriage is so "happy" - because your wife doesn't have to spend time with you.

Unless he's hot. Anyone (male or female) can get away with an attitude by being hot.

Hey WTL, any reason you're unloading on RestonLass (or, come to think of it, any reason RestonLass is being a little defensive?)

RestonLass, don't forget the guy has had several variations of that name, each with two or three thousand posts. When you add them all up, he easily has around 15,000 posts.

He says he is some sort of consultant, but his posts suddenly dropped off since school started. Not a coincidence.

As in usual FU style, a regular thread with a reasonable discussion (that is not controversial) is hijacked and taken on a tangent that is totally irrelevant.

I realize it is a bit much to expect of some people to simply skip over threads that are not of interest, rather than hijacking and going into attack mode.

But there are some who quite literally have no other social outlet other than this forum. And, for them any attention is better than none.

It gets old after a while.

You've never done a "real age" test have you?

http://www.realage.com/

Some people who are 40, look, act and feel 40 biological years or older. Others do not - its all about lifestyle, and often without benefit of cosmetic surgery.

Why would I want to? I know how old I am. I don't need some pseudo science to tell my I'm younger than I am so I can feel better about myself.

It's about how many years you have been alive. If you have been alive 40 years, you are 40 years old. All this "the new" stuff is for fake plastic people. Keep it real folks.

If you look younger and feel younger that's fantastic but don't confuse it with reality.

In the UK they call them 1661'ers, but I call them 1881'ers in the US. From behind they look like a hot 18 year old, but then they turn around and you discover they are more like 81.

Forever 21 is where 40-something divorced women try to recapture their youths with age-inappropriate dress. It is totally relevant, since that is Forever 21's business model.

Heh. That would be RestonLass. I saw one of those yesterday. I was walking down the street and saw this hot ass. Then she turned the corner and was about 50 with make-up caked all over her botox-d face. She went from hot to sad in a few seconds. I'm sure RestonLass has the same experience when she's on the street.
