I am glad he got a job.
West Potomac High School had a lot of issues with Special Education Management which landed Mr. Case in a lot of hot water. However, he choose to resign and was not fired. He didn't want to accept a different position so he did decide to quit.

Everyone deserves a Second chance. There is no one in this world that is Perfect. Asking for a chance should be a YES in every aspect of life.......

Yes, I agree, everyone deserves a second chance. Associate Director of Instructional Design and Development is his new title. It's not a high level job or a management job. He'll be helping to write NOVA's curriculum for online classes.

Above him there is likely an Assistant Director, a Director, and probable a Vice-president. It's a good start for him to rebuild with a much lower profile and salary.

He WAS fired as Principal of West Potomac and would not have been offered another position at that level by FCPS -- ever.

Mr. Case was not FIRED. He refused to take another assignment so he decided to take a different direction. A lot of the rumors about the Former Principal at West Potomac is simply not true. Mr. Case has issues with the Region 3 leadership when the new assistant superintendent took over.

Case was asked to resign as principal, but not from FCPS, because he was banging one of his APs. It has nothing to do with Region Leadership. He was given an alternate opportunity within FCPS and chose to resign instead. That's on him. But the "rumors" were true. They were banging.

This is comical. One angry teacher and a useless AP filed complaints and perpetuated rumors. The Region is a complete joke. But continue to drag him through the mud...

Who was the useless AP? Alex Case created a hostile environment. He lacked maturity on so many levels. Rumors are a plenty, but truth be told, he made enemies unnecessarily. Motto: Doing things just because I can. He got a bj just because he could.

Alex Case fans just keep drinking the kool-aid. He was not ready to lead and be a principal. And yes, he created a hostile environment that only served those who were in his inner circle. He had this elitist Napoleon complex.

Fact: Misuse of public funds to carry on his affair with the AP at 2 conferences. They were both scheduled to go to the third conference before they were put on administrator leave. None of the the other APs were offered the same opportunities to attend any of these conferences. $12,000 of taxpayer's dollars spent on their extramarital affair.

Fact: They were having sex in Alex Case's office. Witnesses heard moaning and groaning and filed a complaint.

Fact: They gave Alex Case the option to resign which is a nice way to say resign before we fire you.

They were interviewed by HR. Both pointed fingers at the other person. I hear the affair is ongoing just hopefully no longer funded by taxpayers.
