Dear Parents,
We are aware of the rumors that are circulating suggesting the possibility of violence at our school. My office and the school’s SRO have interviewed several students in connection with the rumors and determined that the rumors have no validity or credibility. We understand the anxiety the rumors may be causing and, as a precaution, we will have extra security in place at the school. We are confident that there is no risk to students or staff.
I want to thank our school security and the police for their assistance in keeping our building, students and staff safe. We will continue to encourage our students to notify a teacher, administrator and/or a member of our security team any time they have information which could potentially compromise the safety and security of Langley High School.
If you have any additional concerns or questions, please feel free to contact the school office.
