Waples Mill

Does anybody have information on where the mill that was owned by the Waple family existed? I've heard it was on the property that's now Waples Meadow park but don't know if that's actually true or not. Thanks!

No but I have seen the foundation of what used to be Keene's Mill while trailing through the woods.
Near Old Keene Mill road and Huntsman blvd.

In an 1878 map of the Dranesville District of Fairfax County, on Difficult Run, there is a building identified as belonging to Henry Waples and another identified as Difficult G(rist) M(ill). These appear to have been where Waples Mill Road and Fox Mill Road intersect just west of Difficult Run.
