615-foot Tysons skyscraper proposal, tallest in DC, MD and VA

615-foot Tysons skyscraper proposal would be the tallest in all of Virginia, Maryland, or DC...The tower, if built, will be 48-stories and 615-feet tall, directly adjacent to Spring Hill Metro station. It would be mainly condos, with some floors reserved for a hotel, and retail along the sidewalk....According to developer Dan Clemente, funding is lined up and ready to go as soon as Fairfax grants zoning approval. That will probably take 12-18 months.

Of course they will.

And they will contend that the land is too valuable to include support services for the tower such as schools, fire/police stations, athletic fields, parks, bike trails, medical facilities, etc.

Because every single resident will ride the Metro every place they need to go!

Traffic around Tyson's, I-496, I-66, Rt 7 & Rt 123 are all cluster F**Ks now.

Just wait, this along with all the other building is going to make this area really miserable.


The Adaire building is a DISASTER. A lot of scum lives in this building, chances are the same or worst will show up to this building.

Nothing good will come of a 48 story building anywhere in the NOVA region.

We do not need them and do not want them.
