What is the best bowling alley in Fairfax County?

I have some premier clients coming in from out of town. One of them is big into bowling. What is the best place to take them?

I went to the Bowl America on Edsall Rd last week. I was horrified. It's stuck in 1980. Water stained ceiling, the equipment doesn't work, ancient scoring system. They're not making any money, so I guess they can't upgrade. Avoid.

I know, man! Isn't it fantastic?!?!? It's just so organic, artisanal and real in there! I fucking love that place! My only complaint is that they don't sell this awesome frackle-berry nut crunch IPA from this brewery only I know about...

Another vote for the bowlero (Aka AMF) in Centreville.

Looks very nice inside, just make reservations as it does get busy.

x2 also on Edsall Road Bowl America to be shitty now- it was nice back in its heyday- but since the owners failed to get with the times and renovate like AMF centrevile did, no one will go much anymore.

It may be a few bucks cheaper- but you literally get what you pay for.

I don't know about you- but I would rather pay a bit more to play on clean, pristine, smooth lanes with a good ball selection for my guests (I have my own balls and shoes as a person who bowls weekly so don't need to rent) decent food nd drink selection, and CLEAN BATHROOMS.

Went to the Edsall Road Bowl America and noticed my beer glass was cloudy, like they just rinsed it and threw it back on the rack, there were lipstick prints on it too and the old hag at the concession stand refused to give me either a refund or a freshly washed glass, acting like i was trying to scam for free beer when i returned the glass to her with no beer missing out of it, i literally bought it, took 5 steps away and noticed the dirt on it, turned around she was with another customer but i was next and she insisted I was trying to run a scam on her when it was clear there was shit on the glass. I no longer patronize their business for that reason.

If they can't serve beer right have decent customer service, or even keep the bathrooms clean they have lost my business.

How are the prices at centerville now?
It was pretty pricy for daytime bowling under the old management

For premier, high class clients, Annandale Lanes is the cat's ass. No better place to take those with finer tastes.

That one over by Fairfax Circle is good. The one close to the Arthur Treacher's. You can even bring in the hush puppies and cole slaw and your Fanta. They don't mind.

Interesting. Wonder what happened to the high rise they were going to build there. In the meantime you can bowl a few games and then go next door for some fine Korean BBQ or kimchi.

No. They took those out last week and installed Pong and Battlezone. They are supposed to be getting Star Castle next week which is the greatest video game that no one has heard about.

The owner of the property that AMF Annandale sits on, gave AMF a 1 year lease. So this is "spose 2b" their last year in business.

Furthermore, AMF/Bowlmor has been bought out by private equity firm Atairos, which is a company known for selling of an liquidating assets.

It doesn't matter where to play as long as there are acceptable conditions plus the equipment you use this is the key to a good game. I can say one thing that without it it will be very difficult to learn to play well. I for example started with balls in my opinion this is the most important detail in this kit. You need to pick up the ball for yourself and get used to playing only with it. This is the key to success I believe and another caveat you need to choose comfortable shoes. I think these two criteria according Latest comparison are enough for productive play:)

Lots of wetbacks at Burke location unless it’s daytime league bowling.
Might have changed but the last time I went it was a ms13 convention.
