I've seen a few cicadas, but nothing which would constitute an invasion. They're far fewer in number than the brood which emerged in 2004.

In any event, I don't think the cicadas care who's been elected president of the United States. They were around long before the U.S. existed and will probably be here long after we're gone.

Cicadas follow a cycle that predates your liberal ass coming to this county and making it a blue state.

You're first to pack your kids in the minivan to protest the travel ban at Dulles, yet turn the radio down when another economic migrant plows down a Montgomery County cop, or hacks someone with a machete.

The Clinton political machine( Gov McAuliffe) are like the cicadas. They arrive with a lot noise and commotion , but then people realize it will soon pass and wither, and life goes on, without really changing anything.

Rolled back Obamacare, appointed a justice to restore Supreme Court balance, and quietly revamped immigration policy during the 90 days that his EOs were being court reviewed, which was the purpose of the EOs all along.

Trump won. He can sleep the remaining 3.9 years and we are still better off because he was elected.
