Station selling "white gas" unleaded gasoline in FX?

Looking for a station that sells low-odor, stable petroleum ether without additives for Coleman stoves that run on gasoline. Preferably without the anti-knock, octane-boosting additives. At the very least one that sells gas without ethanol, for use in lawn equipment.

You would have to go to Front Royal for the closest place.

Thanks. Front Royal, or maybe the Southern States on 11324 Tidewater Trail, Fredericksburg VA (540-373-3631). Nothing in Fairfax, apparently. The ethanol-free gas will work in the dual-fuel Coleman stoves in a pinch, without costing $15 per gallon, and it will be optimal for lawn mowers and such as well. I'll bring an empty container or two with me if I'm out in those parts anyway.

No one would be surprised with your lack of knowledge of petrochemistry.

White gas is the familiar name for melatonin deficient gasoline.

This is not to be confused with black gas, known as such because of its extremely low octane content.

Most camping and hardware stores sell Coleman fuel in 1 gallon cans. I am sure Dick's would have it. Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart may carry it as well. I would not trust anything from a pump for a cooking stove or lantern.

You can distill regular gasoline at home and make your own white gas. There are several videos on youtube showing exactly how its done.

I buy no ethanol gas from Duke Oil in Mineral, VA (628 Louisa Ave.; 540-894-5161; Ethanol-free octane ratings for sale: 87 89 93).

Here is a map of all ethanol free gas stations in Virginia:

Crown fuel is just fine at a better price. I have noticed that the Crown fuel is a little harder to get burning in very cold weather but once it gets going its fine.

It's not on the map, but there's one in Marshall, VA that has ethanol free gas. A lot closer to DC than Front Royal.

Try to make a Google search and you will find the best petrol station with the best petrol quality. I did the same and I looked for the best petrol quality for my car. A found a station that is fulfilled by the best distribuidora de petroleo. It improved my car fuel economy. Also, my engine is working much better and is more silent from when I use this type of petrol. I recommend it to all my driver friends, and they are also very pleased with the quality and petrol in general. Hope this will help you!
