I am a big fan of well toasted english muffins. Crannies are much better than nooks.

Ya' know, there are still like 8 of those places left in the US? There are also some places with other names that sell fish and chips with the Arthur Treacher name.

The muffin must be toasted properly and be coated with real butter.

Sometimes I use them in place of hamburger buns. Toasted, of course. It's pretty good.

Yes, very good. I make bacon cheeseburgers topped with a fried egg, tomato and mayo and put them on English muffins. Damn good eating right there!

Except for the mayo, which is the devil's sperm, that sounds super tasty. I like a whole wheat EMuff but that's just me.

Thomas's English muffin company was bought out by Bimbo bakeries some time ago. They are a company based in Mexico. The quality of the Thomas's products has gone down since the buyout.
They are baked in Pennsylvania just like most of the bread in the mid-Atlantic region is but they are Mexican based and they might use some undocumented American labor but I don't know that for sure.

I usually buy the Giant Brand...they are pretty damn good. Make em with butter and sometimes jam. I also make grilled cheese with them...toast em up and then put on the cheese and microwave for a few secs until melty and delish.
Shit, now I am hungry
