Becca, this board was recently invaded by a person or persons that found great delight in posting a lot of bullshit. People are still nervous from that. Please don't let this thread be a reflection on the board as a whole.

On topic, though, it's really not a good idea to look on a place like this. 99% of the time, the people that do have a connection won't give it out to someone they don't know. Dealing with strangers is, as the stories on this board have led me to believe, a good way to get yourself arrested or worse.

I totally agree that dealing with strangers and online is def not the best way to get what I'm looking for. Just throwing it out there to see if anyone had ideas - i.e. the hippie shows :-)

Really, you're surprised that you're 30 years old and you have a hard time finding shit? You have one man who's a flake and another who rips you off? That's hilarious. So does everyone else over the age of say maybe 23. Join the crowd.

To be fair, the kids these days are treating each other worse than we ever did. (nephew fresh out of HS... he was at one time a good place to go looking if all else failed). They either WAY overcharge for something that is only marginally tolerable, or you notice at some later point that your 1/8 weighs 2.5 or 3g instead of 3.5. And the older folk are inconsistent (25/older) because they have minivans and soccer games and the usual trappings of adult life to attend to and sometimes can't or are not in the mood to drop everything to just to get you a quarter. Especially when they themselves can't find it. I've also noticed that the usual deals for greater quantity don't seem to apply anymore, and that it's a 'per g' price, regardless of whether it's 1 or 100. But this is a recent trend... maybe in the past year.

Your post did make me feel better though... seems all old heads deal with the same issues. Best of luck.
