How to measure misery?

What kind of measurable factors are there that show how unhappy people are here? For example, number of road rage incidents, etc

There's no reason to correlate road rage and "unhappiness." People who are leading happy and satisfied lives can--and do--go off on other drivers when sufficiently provoked. People can be set off by any number of things, on or off the road. Been to a fast food place when some customer starts in on a cashier because they didn't get napkins in the bag? A minute before, they could very well describe themselves as "happy" with their lives.
