figured some of you would want to know that something went down with our tuba guy out on Braddock....just drove by the intersection of 123 and Braddock at about 10:10 and there was a fire truck, two rollers and i think an ambulance responding to some situation on the sidewalk....the tuba was laying on the grass/mulch

Are you saying he was hit by a car? Did you see evidence of that?

Whatever may have happened, I hope he is not seriously injured or worse--like many other people who knew of him (but may not know him personally).

He is obviously a good-humored, creative individual who has made many community members smile as he marches around playing that ridiculously festooned tuba--provoking thoughtful individuals to realize that our ordinary lives--regardless of sickness, stress, and sorrow--can be balanced by levity.

Bless him. Sending healing thoughts... (assuming the OP isn't perpetrsting a hosx here).

Tubaguy is my facebook friend. He posted about what happened and honestly, he thinks he was roofied. Why? No one knows for sure, but all the symptoms he had matched up w/ what happens to you when someone slips you a Mickey. He's fine now. Thanks for caring!
