Sad, but perhaps true. I honestly think that by the summer months, one of two things will happen:

(1) They eliminate parking fees altogether.

Or

(2) They continue to charge but, lessen the parking fees and/or allotted times and allow paid cash parking (this is for those who do not have smartphones, such as seniors and the disabled, as the case may be).

Option 2 would be the best PR move.

To the PR person in charge of RTC parking: you are welcome.

I stopped going there because of their nazi parking system. You can only park if you have a smart phone. What do they think they are CIA-spying lite? The fuckers can stick a cantaloupe in their ass before I will bow down to their mark of the beast bullshit.

...there is a CIA site right around the corner on Sunrise Valley. Google it. It's publicly available and right next to the Verisign building (not Google's fault, but the fault of others).
