Building Plans?

I see a new sewer line is being put in along Olley Lane across from Little Run School behind four houses that look abandoned. I suspect a developer is going to build some townhouses there. Where can I find out if there are building plans? Thanks.

Call Fairfax County DPZ to see if a rezoning was filed/approved to build townhouses.
If they don't know anything, call DPW & ES and ask them.

Normally Zillow is on top if a property has been sold. They need to update those properties if that's the case.

The three properties were sold to S&J in 2009 for $2.1 million. Looks like it was a foreclosure sale because the previous owner bought them for $2.6 million in 2006.

It's a a PI (Public Improvement) plan. Makes sense in light of the sewer being built.
It's possible they will combine the properties, re-subdivide, build a cul de sac so they have the street frontage required to build more houses under R-1 zoning. It's also possible that the properties septic systems were failing and the only was they could re-develop was to add sewer. Call the engineers in charge of the project, they will know.....as though it's really any of you business....

Multiple properties will be combined for this development. Access will not be from Olley. The main entrance to the development will be from the property at 4415 Glenn Rose Street, and any children living there will go to Olde Creek ES, not Little Run.

Once you have a permit# you can track the project info at this site. If the project is a County funded infrastructure project the information will be public domain. Go to the County offices and you can look at the plans.
