New T-Mobile Towers in Centreville?

I was browsing through a community association newsletter today and saw that there was some kind of application filed by T-Mobile to install antennas in Centreville. Coverage for them is bad here. Anyone have any info on timelines for this?

Here's a photo of it.

I understand it is going right in the center of Virginia Run next to the clubhouse, so the reception should be outstanding.

Props to the county web site. I found this:

Looks like they want to put stuff on the roof of the Hampton Inn on Westfax drive, on an existing VDOT pole on Pleasant Valley Drive between 29 and Braddock, and what may be an existing pole near Wetherburn drive. I don't know what the range on these are but it looks like Route 29 in that area should benefit. Not sure about other areas of Centreville but hopefully they will plug a few holes.

Very interesting read.

I also noticed:

1) The county is also putting up 62 "Yield to Pedestrians Fine $100-5500" signs around the county also.
2) The county is sueing Cingular wireless about some equipment damage.
3) The county has declared Sept 15-Oct 15 "Hispanic Heritage Month."

1) So I take it if you do a rolling stop into a crosswalk the fine is $100 and if you run over and kill a pedestrian, the fine is $5,500.

2) Maybe the county should sue Cingular for being Cingular.
3) The 15th to the 15th???? Do Hispanics use different calendars than the rest of us?

No. That way they technically get two months of traction out of it rather than just one. They start sending out email about all the events a good month before that. It almost appears, at least in the federal government, that it is people's only job to do "recognition" months. yy
