Local source for cedar fence pickets

As the title says.... I need pickets for a stockade fence, preferably cedar but pressure-treated pine will suffice. It needn't be finished on top (with rounded or pointed peak) but it should body of it should had a taper to the sides- not merely a 3/4" x 3" x 6' piece that is square cut. What little shit Home Depot has is shit. Any sources near Falls Church? Any local fence companies that also sell fence lumber?

Was there today. The only pickets they hade were roughly square-cut, with a funky "colonial" cut on top, made od the lowest quality pine. Absolute crap.

Have you checked with your HOA about putting up a fence? The HOA needs to approve the fence including - Type of material, height, placement, color, construction, style, and environmental impact.

If you construct a fence without HOA approval, it will be removed at you expense, and fines will be levied.

and don't forget to file for a building permit with Fairfax County.

Thanks for the responses. Builders Fence Co. has the stockade side-to-side taper ones, not individually, but as assembled fence sections that I can easily disassemble, in spruce and pressure treated. They come to a blunt point on top. I think I'll go with them. Long Fence also sells pieces. I checked Tart Lumber (Sterling) and Barrons (Manassas) and they have cedar but it is square-cut, not tapered. All have much better options than Lowes and home Depot.

Not to worry, "Before you build"; this is an existing fence, decades old, that just need a few repairs.
