HBO Deadwood returning?

Last update I read was August 2016 of plans for it to return.

I read somewhere they plan on doing a 2 hour finale epi instead of a new season. I don't know when, but I don't even know why I watched this show, it was so boring.

Seriously...I never understood the appeal of this show. All it was, was a vehicle for HBO to thumb their noses at network TV because they packed a bunch of swear words into each episode.
