C'mon yall!
Jake was a great guy.
The rumors about him and his pre-teen sister were never confirmed, so just leave him alone. Sure, it looked like him in the video from the Nanny-Cam but it was kinda blurry from being dubbed so many times, so it would never have held up in court.
Some people think that Jake was some kind of loner, but really he loved being around people. Just 2 weeks before he was killed, I saw him at a playground entertaining the kids with his magic tricks. I've never seen any of his magic, but he told me about one where he makes a snake appear and disappear. I'll bet the kids loved that one.
He cared so much about everything, even animals. He was so concerned that he might be placed in a situation wherein he needed to perform major surgery on an ailing pet, that he practiced on stray cats in the neighborhood. He would euthanize them quietly and humanely with a guitar string, then dissect them piece by piece. The amazing thing is, he did it all with a machete. Such skill.
He was always so willing to help people. One night a few weeks back, I saw him struggling to get a 42" Plasma TV out of some old lady's house. I gave him a hand loading it into his car. He said the old lady was on vacation and he wanted to surprise her when she got back by helping her move the heavy stuff like the TV's, computer, jewelry and safe. What a guy!
You people here don't know the Jake Kingswell that I know. A kind family man that wants to give back to the community whenever he can. Please be nice.
